2006

2006-04-03 - This is the first Central Carolina Skywarn Net that I have ever recorded. Its a good net with some good reports. For more info on this storm, go here
2006-04-22 - Another good net with some damage reports from wind.
2006-05-14 - This is an excellent net, with numerous tornado warnings, hail reports, and wind damage. For more info on this storm, go here
2006-06-11 - Good net with tornado warnings, and some wind damage. For more info on this storm, go here
2006-11-16 - This net has a few tornado warnings in it, but not many spotter reports.


2007

2007-04-15 - This net has a few tornado warnings, numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, some hail reports, and wind damage
2007-07-17 - This net had a few severe thunderstorm warnings, but was pretty uneventful. It was mainly a "rain maker" For info go here
2007-07-27 - This net had numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, some hail reports, a bit of wind damage, but was mainly a "rain maker"
2007-08-21 - This net had numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, but was mainly a wind and rain storm
2007-09-14 - This is a great net with some tornado warnings and excellent wall cloud, wind, hail, and damage reports. For info go here and here


2008

2008-04-04 - This net has some severe thunderstorm warnings, wind reports, and hail reports.
2008-05-20 - This is an excellent net with numerous tornado warnings, and excellent reporting by skywarn spotters. The intermod was still causing issues with the repeater.
2008-06-01 - This net had numerous severe thunderstorm warnings and a lot of hail and wind reports.
2008-08-15 - This net was pretty uneventful.
2008-08-27 - This net has numerous tornado warnings. There are a few spotters that saw tornadoes on the ground, and followed them for miles. For info go here and here
2008-11-15 - Night storm with multiple tornadoes on the ground. For info go here

2009

2009-03-27 - This net has a lot of tornado warnings, but just a few reports. Here is Channel 11's (WTVD) coverage of this storm    Part 1    Part 2    Part 3
2009-05-05 - This was a large storm, with multiple tornado warnings. Here is Channel 11's (WTVD) coverage of this storm  Part 1   Part 2   Part 3   Part 4
2009-05-09 - This net has a lot of severe thunderstorm warnings, and NUMEROUS damage reports.
2009-07-28 - This net has mostly wind reports and some power outages.
2009-07-31 - Some wind damage and heavy rain, but not many spotter reports.
2009-08-05 - Very few reports. Pretty uneventful.
2009-08-11 - Just a few wind and rain reports.
2009-08-17 - Only a couple spotter reports.
2009-08-20 - This net was recorded on a tape recorder. There were no spotter reports

2010

2010-01-25 - In this net, there were mainly just wind reports
2010-01-29 - PART 1     2010-01-29 - PART 2 - This was a Winter Weather Net where the region received between 2 and 8 inches of snow!

2010-02-12 - Another winter weather net. We did not get as much snow as we did on 2010-01-29, but it was still a good net. Accumulation maps from NOAA.    Click me!
2010-03-30 - In this net, there were no reports.
2010-04-25 - On this day, it wasn't suppose to rain at all! A tornadic storm popped up out of nowhere, and dropped an EF0 tornado in east Wake county.
                         One spotter saw it and frantically tried to reach any skywarn station. Eventually, the information was passed on and a tornado warning was issued.
2010-06-29 - In this net, there were very few reports.
2010-07-10 - In this net, there were very few reports.
2010-07-17 - In this net, there were some reports.
2010-07-20 - In this net, there were some good wind and damage reports.
2010-07-25 - Most of this net was recorded on a tape recorder. Due to a transformer explosion, our power was out.
2010-07-29 - In this net, there were very few reports. It was pretty uneventful.
2010-08-04 - In this net, there were very few reports. It was pretty uneventful.
2010-08-05 - In this net, there were very few reports. It was pretty uneventful.
2010-10-27 - In this net, there were very few reports. It was pretty uneventful.
2010-11-16 - This net was held on the backup frequency. There were no spotter reports.
2010-12-25 - PART 1     2010-12-25 - PART 2 - This was a Winter Weather Net where the region received between 4 and 13 inches of snow!

2011

2011-03-06 - This was the storm that dropped an EF0 tornado in Rolesville, NC. There were no warnings at the time. This net has good reports.
2011-03-23 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-04-05 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-04-16 - In this storm, there were multiple tornadoes on the ground, causing massive damage to central carolina, and 23 deaths in NC.

2011-04-27 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-04-28 - During this net, there were multiple tornado warnings for Sampson County. Here is WTVD's coverage of this storm. Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4
2011-05-13 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-05-14 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-05-27 - During this storm, some areas of Durham and Wake Counties received over 3 inches of rain. This net had a lot of spotter reports.
2011-06-10 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-06-11 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, but not many spotter reports.
2011-06-18 - This net had some severe thunderstorm warnings, and some good reports.
2011-06-19 - This net was in the middle of the night, but not many spotter reports.
2011-06-21 - This was a good net with alot of heavy rain and hail reports.
2011-06-27 - This net had very few reports.
2011-06-28 - This net had some good reports.
2011-07-04 - There were no spotter reports during this net.
2011-08-14 - This net had a few good damage reports.

2011-08-27 - This was the Tropical Weather net from Hurricane Irene. There were a lot of damage reports and power outages.

2012-03-31 - A small storm that came through the western suburbs of Wake county, dropping A LOT of hail!
2012-05-09 - Another small storm that didn't do much.
2012-05-23 - This was a pretty large, long lived hail producing storm that beat up the eastern suburbs
2012-07-01 - This was a large line of intense thunderstorms that produced a lot of hail and wind damage
2012-07-08 - Pretty slow net
2012-07-24 - This net had a lot of wind and hail damage reports
2012-07-28 - Not a lot of reports, but good net
2012-09-18 - Not a lot of reports, but had some tornado warnings

2013-04-19 - Not a lot of reports, but a good net
2013-06-10
2013-06-13 - Excellent net with a lot of reports! 70+ MPH winds associated with this line of storms.
2013-06-18 - This storm had a tornado up in Franklin County, but very few reports.

2014

2014-01-11 - Great net with multiple tornado warnings. This storm produced the highest wind gust ever reported at RDU airport of 86MPH.

2016-02-24 - Multiple tornado warnings during this net.
2016-10-08 - Net from Hurricane Matthew. I do not have the ending to the net because of a loss of power. I did not have power for 72 hours!
